about me

CTO and member of senior management, with 25 years across strategy, architecture and engineering. I start from the customer and the business: what they need and what success should look like. Then I make sure it gets built right, on solid engineering foundations, by teams that own the result.

At Strauss Strategy I lead the professional work of about 30 senior architects and am the technology lead across 50+ client programs a year, working with CEOs, CIOs and CTOs in finance, government, health and high-tech. Before that I was a startup CTO, building R&D and taking products to international markets. I bring deep, hands-on AI experience, from enterprise AI strategy down to agents running in production, and when it matters I build things myself.

I believe AI is a historic shift that is changing our profession and the way things get done, and I believe just as much in great people and in doing things for a reason.
